NetWeaving - Part of The Next Generation in Networking
Last week I was honored to have met Bob Littell from NetWeaving. I have written about Bob in the past, but to hear the possibilities that NetWeaving brings to connecting - well, I was blown away. Hearing Bob speak about netweaving made me so happy that I have been making connections on a new level. It’s all about listening to people with two sets of antennae. One is for the networker, “Are they a good prospect for me to do business with?”, and other is for the netweaver, “Who do I know that should meet this person.”
This is a very general description of the two, but the power is unstoppable.
Bob told us about Xing which is a website he will be using for making connections throughout the world. I joined on Saturday and have already made connections with a photographer in Hawaii, Charlie Hull who I am introducing to Marcy Gelber of Travel by Marcy. I have also met Maria Sipka in Barcelona, which is where my youngest son will be traveling in June after High School graduation.
On Xing you can join different groups of interest. I have joined the NetWeaving group, and the Global Business Women’s group. There are so many areas of interest, you could be on this all day. The idea is to make connections and get to know people throughout the world. I hope people will join and fill out your questionnaire completely. It is another great way to bring the world together one connection at a time.
I am adding a link here to a movie that I received from Maria in Barcelona. I hope each one of my readers are impacted the way I was.
